THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

PAC banned everyone from carrying weapons, except the SDC PvP bodyguards that they trusted to protect Salome. The SDC bodyguard killed Salome, and since no-one else had weapons, she died.

Thankfully an independent commander found and published a chunk of the secret before the event even started.

Didn't he say there was more for us than those logs when they came to light earlier?

So far, a disapointing and complete waste of time to learn things already known. "Ohh the aliens are coming and someone's trying to keep it secret from you guys!"

One log pretty much says;
"Ohh you went out to the Rift just like me, but hey you found nothing! Well too bad that's your own fault for going there! Idiot!"

No answers to anything. If this is legitimately what Raan had to deliver, then this is the most worthless information ever.

I just got to Teorge and I'm in the process of downloading all the Listening Post data to review it, but so far it's just.. What a colossal waste.

Who could have foreseen this...

These are systems that were named by the original games, and it had some simple generational algorithms to do this. I think that's why you'll find names like that.

Winged. Total inside job.

If that's the case then yeah, scripted from the start.

Really disappointed in all that "See how it plays out" Bull. They could have winged her with any of the COR people, yet SDC who everyone knows are trolls, get the wing instead? Including HP? meh.... Real let down there.

For my part, I was on Xbox, failing to be in the same instance as Yuri. massive waste of an evening.

I think Drew's tweet about Reorte, he meant Reidquat -- And he knows it. Hint; The logs from the rift settlements. "We left from Reorte.. Did I say reorte? I meant Reidquat"

Here's why I think there might be more to the Reorte/Teorge name relationship. If the rift settlement logs mention the same system that makes three coincidences in one error.

Reminds me of ....

29th will be just like The Hunt, The Guardians and the FR mYsTeRy (boooo!) ... but shhhh .. it's a secret :

ALL THAT FOR THAT ?

and

Yeah, but the reveal is just that the Alliance/Feds/Imps are afraid of scary monsters so were creating a bunch of new Bubbles for them to run away to (on the A Ark) - leaving all us plebs sitting around waiting for the B Ark to be finished. And then being eaten.

But I enjoyed chasing the witch

But none of it was even breadcrumbs; like I said earlier, the content of the old woman's 16 page logs were already well established. There was nothing new learned about anything, at least not IMO.

Those are the breadcrumbs, what you're describing is a sandwich.

Once all the event angst dies down we can get down to the slog of teasing out the bit of info in those messages. Oddly phrased sentences and word choice, strange punctuation usage etc. Just like the good 'ole days :). And after a month or two of not finding anything, another crumb. It's the hunt not the kill that's most of the fun.

Yeah, this is what I've been saying for a few pages now. It's extremely disappointing.
