Moving saves to a users preferred platform, with the user paying Frontier more money to buy the game on that platform makes economic sense for them, they aren't a charity, and your flat universe with all users at the same level is going to last.....hmmm....a day at
With the exception of pc, Frontier isn't in charge of how various platforms (xbox, ps4) conducts their bussiness. They designed the game to be played on pc, knowing and having to deal with customers third party modifcations (mods). Frontier is under contract to modify their game to fit the other two Xbox and PS4, and do so because of profits. Part in part, based on a total number of games each speculate they will sell. Why and or what would be the purpose for either to have a joint platform, when they are in competition to increase their individual bottom lines. Basically after purchase, one dealings are with the the company they purchased from. Any and all issues, good or bad must go through which ever one purchased from. Frontier must deal with them not us.
Frontier will get their money from xbox and or ps4 regardless of total sales by either, not us.
As an investor, I purchase stock or shares from Sony. Why would I want them to share or partner with MS were as I have no investment. On the contrary, I'd be elated if MS didn't sell one version of three. Xbox and Frontier were under contract which excludes any and all except rumers inregards to a PS4 version for a set amount of time. UNTIL that time expires, Frontier can not give definitive answeres about a PS4 version. That's why they seem so evasive. The only thing Frontire can elude to is the end term of their contract with Xbox which closes in the 2 quarter this year. AFTER which, they can go full steam forward in regards to PS4.
One buys a new Ford (PS4), one must direct any and all issues to the Ford Corp (Sony). AMC, GMC, GM, (MS) and or the companies whom make the various componet, don't give a dam about any or all issues one may have with their purchase of a competitors product. One of the main reasons MS developed Windows 10 was to decrease the amount of Customer support MS offered to numerious previous versions of windows.
