how to separate a route?

Hi
Sorry if this is obvious and explained many time, but could not find an answer.
I am going on an expedition, and would like to separate the route in some way. I send all my logs to EDSM, but it is a mess now after over a year. Is there a way to seperate certain dates in EDSM?
I use EDDiscovery, but I do not see anything that would apply either :/ Please help

In EDDiscovery, open the 2D map and select the 'custom' filter. You can then enter the dates you want to display.
For example, here's my flight activity for the last week:

There's a date filter in the 3D map as well (although it's a bit fiddly). You can also set the colour that will be used on the maps from your travel history in EDD so you can have different trips in different colours to make it easier to differentiate on the maps with everything shown.
