harry potter (SDC) is described as a Bounty hunter by Galnet!? He must have the biggest bounty in the galaxy

Just because half the players use doesn't stop it from being an exploit.
Just because an FD staff member says it's fine and not an exploit just means FD are fine with it. Probably because they can't or wont invest the time to fix it.
It's still exploiting the game mechanics and is therefore by all definitions, an exploit.

Are we suddenly under the impression that Galnet is an impartial media source? Politically speaking they're about as impartial as the Daily Mail is here in the UK, know what I'm saying.

It's full of stuff about the Kardashians and other 'slebs you've never heard of?

I was just deleting old photos off my iPad and came across this one, taken in the toilets of the Elephant Room Cafe in Edinburgh (where J.K.Rowling did a lot of her writing). Thought some people here might appreciate it (not written by me I hasten to add).

:p

I've written many times that groups such as SDC are condoned, if not encouraged, by FD, as the apex predator group(s) and are the ultimate expression of "Elite: Dangerous". My opinion, based on subjective observations.

Until FD shows otherwise, that belief is factored into my game and I don't fret about it at all.

If you wish to avoid them, just use some common sense and read the forums, there are many ways to do so.

This whole event and it's aftermath has been a great PR success for FD and the scribe, even though it doesn't really have any effect on the day to day game play.

How much time would be needed to transfer 1bil credits from player to player? Can any1 do the math,MA included?

I love how the OP assumed being a bounty hunter is a good thing. Bounty hunters kill complete strangers, for reasons unknown, just for a paycheck. To stay with the current date: there is a reason the Jedi dont like working with bounty hunters...
