not detecting my game on startup the first icon when i hover over it the program goes crazy spamming windows i only get the one icon shown i have completely uninstalled and reinstalled same problem there are no macros or stuck keys else i wouldn't be able to type this cant access the in app email as it goes nuts on launch ?. have not imported any database just a clean install any help welcome///
ignore doing an update of my existing installation then selecting the icons in the options panel fixed it a clean install doesn't work for me though

I can happily report that ( - Fixed finally an error at the scan body event, if the Navigation panel is visible at the same time) Is fixed 
The ICON's look cool, is it possible to change the colour of them? I've looked in Options/Colour nothing new there? But I presume they are images? Although I can't find them in the TCE directory.

All icon's are pictures (transparent png's with black/white symbols), so they are not exchangable atm, because they got stored within the executable.
But it would be possible to add them to the JPG folder to edit them manually, if many users requesting it.
But first I will checkout the possibility to change the black/white default coloring by some code from within TCE.

I have installed TCE without problem, but when I start it all the icons do not appear.
Only the central and visible icon and the 3 of the bottom of the window.
My elitesOCR is in versions 8.0.2
The TCE launcher does not indicate anything special.

OK, I assumed as much, no worries.
Please try to download again the last update (V1.5.5) and copy/paste the content into your TCE folder.
The update contains alot of fixes for the new icon-based UI and got multiple re-released (yesterday).

I had taken a litle break from the game since about Feb 1 '17, and decided to check back in to ED for a bit. I installed 1.5.5 fresh and tried to transfer my old data into new install. At the point, every time I tried to load TCE with ED running, TCE would hang at 75% and give a .net error. unfortunately I kept trouble shooting past there and do not have that error text handy though I probably could recreate it if necessary. I then reset the database and now TCE loads, and while it does detect my pilot data, it does not actually hook the game and track purchases/sales/or movement, only saying "exit or restart elite dangerous" or whatever that warning at the top said.
If this sounds like a familiar problem to you I'd very much like a heads up, otherwise I can try to work backwards to recreate the original problem. Just tell me what to do please.

Please create an error report with the Report an Error button at the launcher, so I can check your database. If TCE saying exit/restart when in game, the ED folder is not properly set at the launcher.
The error message and details would be helpful, please add it to the report. Thanks.
Feature request.
Can we have a keybind to hide the camera window. I use voice attack to click the "Hide" but that requires voice attack to move the mouse to a specific screen position. If I change the camera window size then that has to be reconfigured. A key bind would be perfect.

I am back into ED and TCE after about a 9 month break and I've updated TCE without a problem and it is all looking great, you have done a wonderful job with the TCE but there seems to be something not displaying as it did before. Previously the 'Summary Panel' would display the number of known installations and unregistered installations but now the 'Summary panel' always displays zero for Unregistered Installations. The other information in the Summary Panel all seems to be correct except the unregistered installations.

Love this program by the way. First time I used it for cartography.
After exploring for a bit I am having problems with the camera.
1. The auto camera after scan does not work all the time. Something I am doing seems to be breaking it. Havent figure out what yet.
2. This might have something to do with the above but after I scan a planet/moon the menu does not select the new planet/moon. Instead it selects the star. Countless times I have taken a photo and overwritten the photo for the star.

I can confirm, I have found an issue, when scanning a star, so the Camera panel appears, if Auto Camera option is active ofc, but no picture was taken and therefore the Camera panel stood open until scanning a planet.
In this case, the picture, that was taken from a planet, is replacing the star picture.
A fix will be released with the next update. Until then, please hide the Camera panel or take a shot, before scanning a new stellar object.

In the TCE.config file edit ClassicUI="false" to ClassicUI="True"
this way you you atleast have text buttons instead of "no icons"
Please use the Report an Error button at the launcher and include the ErrorReportFiles.7z file from the TCE folder, so I can check your database.
