THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

BTW: WHAT STAR CLASS IS MOST LIKELY TO CONTAIN EARTH-LIKE PLANETS (ASKING EVERYONE)?

I think is F,K and G

Wait...what am I missing here? was it somehow revealed that Salomé was a clone of Rebecca? Or is that part of your theory? If the former is a fact, then I missed a lot in the short time I've been away from this thread.

Thanks in advance,
CMDR_Crobar

No, its just a theory based on the Teorge logs...

Other stuff
We could, if we wanted, run around the Rift (and Hawking/Conflux) looking for ELWs and beacons, but I think that whilst finding them might be fun (assuming there's anything there) they're 'old news' and not going to tell us anything we don't already know.

If anyone has any other facts or questions the feel free to add them - but at this point I'm going to ignore any theories or speculation ;)

Hmmm. Yes. There some still unresolved clues, AFAIR. e.g. the vain queen riding a giraffe. OK; we now have the final *answer* to the clue but maybe I'm too dumb, but I can't figure out a way to fit this clue in.

Theory: We have found the preliminary endpoints, but are still missing some intermediate stuff. Maybe there are answers to some of these questions out there. I've jus looked ot the 'first page' of the thread, I didn't find a list of the clues. Am I missing something?

Never be ashamed of self-bumpage. It doesn't make you go blind, no matter what they say.

(I did actually add some content whilst bumping).

For 30 seconds I could rep you again. Now you ruined it by immediately posting something funny as hell.

Most of the one's I've found were around F & K types.

Why do Galnet claim that Salomé was killed in Arumclaw, when she was really killed in Anumclaw?

Same with the Gen ship Lycaon. Apparently to Galnet it's 'Lycaor'

Because they want to see some crazy rifter try and turn it into a puzzle that sends the rest of the crazy rifters on a search for salome's suitcase, filled with unmentionables mind you, that got marooned on a planet somewhere between Sol and everywhere else in the galaxy? Duh!

Ok, that's what I thought. *phew* I was hoping I didn't miss out on any leaked or discovered-upon information. Its a damn good theory though.
I have a theory of my own.
If we remember back to Reclamation, Octavia Quinton tried to "transplant" her consciousness to Salomé. What if Salomé's consciousness is going to be transplanted into another body, in this very way, by her constituents? Anybody got any little black squares lying around? haha. A "real" F-U moment would be to kidnap Aisling and do it to her. I doubt that would be the case though.

F,K, and G are the most common but there are still ELW's around other types of stars. I've seen them around A type stars (rare). We all may have missed something given the odds. Happy exploring.

Got a bit lost and into a dead end heading into the Rift, so had to come about and retrace my steps a little (I'm all good now, though).

Still, one benefit of traversing 'the road less travelled' was finding this little, undiscovered beauty:

Finding this Earth-like gem gave me the boost I needed to just get back on track and see what else is out there! (There weren't any beacons nearby, incidentally).

o7, CMDRs, I'll continue to report back what I find (if anything).

I agree with the FKG for ELW, but while it might just be RNG and me, I have more terraformable worlds around As than any other star type. My best paying system was an A with 2 ELWs, a water world, ammonia world and 6 other terraformable worlds including a couple of lifeless landable moons, with most of the planets orbiting gas giants. As they mentioned in the logs that they dropped terraforming packages I'd do the As as well if me out there.

I tend to travel AFG for the hits. Ks are a bit too common with lower % ELWs than FG for me and AFG usually only adds around 5 jumps per 1000ly when not is a sparse area.

There's Synuefe KS-R D5-2. It would put you in range of Col 70 Sector FY-N C21-3. Col 70's all still permit locked though so you wouldn't be able to target it though. But hey-ho. It's the best place I found for a looking for a route into an interesting part of Col 70 via NS jump.

Good to know, maybe i'll finally get out to the FDR. However, even without NS, those 53 LY on the DBX are still pretty darn sweet...

does anyone have any information on the Hutton Truckers found message that has been mentioned since the 'event'? I cannot seem to find any more info on this

To be fair, it is rather strange that both misspellings have replaced an n with an r... another final message from TOW perhaps... ;)
