So last night I finally managed to get access to Marco Qwent - hurrah! And quickly got up to rank 3 with this blighter. Hurrah!
Seeing as I'm in my 50LY Conda, I decided to scoot along to Kongaa to purchase the 25 Kongga Ale bribes for Lori Jameson.
Ah! But there's only 24 for sale here! It's a Rare Good so yeah maybe they just had 24 then and there. I bought the 24 and went to bed.
I look at the market this morning - no more Kongga Ale for sale - so yes indeed it looks like I can purchase a maximum of 24 Kongga Ales and the market will not make that extra 1 I need to take to Lori.
So now I have to jump to Shinrarta, hand Lori my 24 Kongga Ales, hop back to Kongga, buy 1 more Kongga Ale, and scoot back to Shinrarta, to hand Lori that 1 last Ale she so badly needs.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not butthurt about this, it's literally just 5 or so jumps in my AwesomeConda. I'm just curious about the reasoning behind this particular design decision.
FDEV, is this meant to be some kind of additional fun thing? It seems to me to be deliberately designed to increase the amount of time taken in that one task. It looks awfully like the decision a game designer would make in order to troll a player. Just askin', FDEV
