Surely Fdev youre going to give some discount for us PC players... right?

I mean, i dont have PS4, but few friends might be interested of getting Elite for PS4 and if they do, i might actually buy PS4 and Elite, but im not paying full price for the third time.
I already have two accounts, both with Horizons so really, i would suggest some kind of discount code for PC/Box players..

Hey Mr. Ed Lewis, it would sure be shiny if you use the PS4 version in some of your livestreams between now and release date. Crank up the hype machine, because I'm hyped!!! (Seriously, I'd love to see PS4 ED in action while waiting.)

I know there have been threads and discussions about PC versions, PS4 versions etc.
Can I start by saying that even if it were an option, I have no interest in being able to transfer a commander from the PC platform to the PS4.
However, I'd love for all of my Kickstarter perks to be transferable - the choice of start locations & ship. The hold full of cargo, my commander name etc.

Please forgive me if this has already been discussed and the definitive answer posted - but is that idea totally off the table?

Very unlikely. Previously all lifetime passes were platform-specific. I'd be very surprised if they changed this.

Yep, they changed their minds. At least this way the product structure is consistent across the different platforms.

Does that mean 2.4 will be out by then? I remember the original PS4 trailer had something along the lines of "play Elite Dangerous with all the Horizons season pass content when it launches on PS4" - has that been retconned?

Changed the policy, people have the same choice as existing platforms now, base game or base game with Horizons.

2.4 is anyone's guess but I would suggest not.

FD never said 2.4 will be realeased simultaneously with the PS4 release.

I have a feeling 2.4 might be delayed, for some reason I thought 2.4 was supposed to be available at release of PS4 but it seems no mention of that probably means issues.

LOL! There needs to be a beta period first in which FD ignore serious bug reports... only to fix in a later patch after much B*ing in the forums!

Very refreshing that FD will launch the PS4 version in the time frame they originally quoted.
