HOTAS is cool, however, if you prefer a game pad, this might interest you.

Double the price I'm seeing for HOTAS 4, but those extra paddles could do you well...

Do have to point out, those extra paddles can only serve as re-maps of the standard buttons.

This controller is mostly marketed at "pro" gamers. So the paddles aren't extra buttons per se... But alternative placement.

This being said, a bit of clever re-mapping will let this game pad offer full 6-axis control. I have a PM somewhere telling me how to do it.

Yes, it's wired only. No wireless option for it. As the cable uses Razer's own jack on the controller end, meaning getting a longer cable won't be an option.

If I had a PS4, I would totally buy this thing. But I'm a desk gamer even on consoles. Wires don't bother me, actually I prefer wires.

Like I said, I just wanted to notify the PS4 community of this thing. I'll leave it to you decide if you want to buy.

Costs $168 NZD across the ditch (thats 90 GBP to you guys..)

looks like about the same in AUD from MightyApe.

I found one on French Amazon for 57,99EUR. I'll probably go for that one.

The Gamesmen sell them for AU$139.95

At today's exchange rates, that's

104 US$
93 Euros
80 GBP

Things ain't cheap here :(

Amazon will be opening up a local presence here later in the year, hopefully that'll provide some interesting pressures on pricing.
