Linking ps4 elite account to pc elite account

As i have it on pc with life time pass would it be safe to link the ps4 elite frontier account to my pc frontier account?
it won't break anything on my pc frontier account will it?

I got in touch with support and this is the reply.

Thanks for getting in touch with us regarding the upcoming PS4 version.
You can link your PS4 version to your current PC Frontier account and it will not interfere.

Each platform is different and will not share the same CMDR data. You will have a seperate save on each.
You will would need to purchase a copy for each platform as well. You already have your PC version.

We have no news regarding transfering CMDR net worth to the PS4 version yet either.
