No conspiracy needed. Let's face it, in the past whenever someone has come with a 'I was griefed..' thread there is always plenty of people advising 'möbius'. Therefore problem solved no need to spend time sorting out open when there is alternate open

I would consider mobius more of a consequence to counter the actions of the few who ruin open...ye do know mobius isnt the only private group, just the most talked about and the biggest. If mobius itself is the problem, the same could be said fer any private group that doesnt play openly as content fer others.
I dont think its helping, but I dont it as a cause, more a consequence. Having the pvp players telling everyone not happy with open play to 'git gud or get lost in mobius' probably didnt help matters much either...they literally sent players there with their official seal of approval.
And now they cry constantly about it...a situation largely of their own making...pure comedy gold and Im secretly laughing at them every time these threads come up. One reaps what one sows imo ^

Building a fast Sidey or Eagle and chain interdicting people is pretty great. Really gets the salt flowin' when they can't catch you.
Or just get something that runs silent and realize that most of them run gimbals and are only decent due to their superior firepower, which is worthless when they can't hit you lol.
One on one it seems many of these guys are average pilots, at best. Hence the 4v1 gank situations you may often find yourself in.

Problems with you, not PvPers, you is:
You use selective observation in your judgment towards PvEers. (edit: before you start off, sure happens towards PvPers as well, but wouldn't your rather rise above that, than sink into it?)
You generalise a large group of people based on your selective observations.
So please, spare me the Special Victim Unit routine and throw more tips towards the OP if you want to contribute.

Allow players to put blinking warning lights in the galaxy map around systems that just have been Griefed! With annoying warning sound too, so it can never be missed. This will attract do-gooder bounty hunters and keep weak players away form the fun action.

I was thinking like a red glowing ring around the attacked systems.

Kinda funny, whenever there is a thread about the bad bad griefers.....there is immedately a Mobius-lover in there too.
I like PVP, but find griefers boring there's lots of PVP in CZ's in Mobius.
I used to post helpful stuff just like the OP in fact I still have an escapology guide ready to be pasted into threads just like this. But that was a while back. FD are not going to fix murder trolling because they can't or they would have done it already, griefers gonna grief.
Mobius has all the advantages and none of the hassle, it also works unlike the speed limit, law enforcement fines and bounties. Let them have open.
Anti-griefer tactic:
1. Say Good Game in comms when you get destroyed by someone.
2. Keep plenty of rebuys on hand.
3. Don't feed potential griefers with your salty thread about being destroyed.

This is putting the cart before the horse. Mobius was created as an answer to the tulips, there would be no need for it if it weren't for the selfish play of certain cretins.

Firstly, every single post on here is a generalisation because 100% of nobody agrees with the same thing.
Secondly, read the forums yourself and tell me, do you see more hate toward the griefers/pvp, or from the PVP crowd about PVEers? The PVPers tend to keep it in game, the judgement comes out here. SDC might be the big bad wolves of Elite (and no, i don't know any of them, not affiliated with them and certainly not part of them) but i barely never see them on here judging how PVEers play their game, and when i do see them post its usually defending their own actions in a stereotypical griefers thread.
Thirdly, no victim unit, if you check my history I'm generally unbiased toward all play styles and have even given tips in threads about how NOT to be a victim.
I honestly don't know how it could be either, unless your looking for straws to even begin clutching.
