ELW next to a neutron star

So as I am hauling these passengers near the galactic core I decided to try supercharging the FSD and jump from one neutron star to another to speed up the journey a bit.
As I am doing just that I bump into a system with a neurton star and an M type with a few planets around it about 6k Ls away, one of them is an earth-like world.

So as I express my doubts about that to be possible, my girlfriend says: what if the supernova went off before the planet was formed?
All bodies were around 300 million years old according the scan info.

What do you think?

Entirely possible, I'd say. Note that in ED, the "Earth-like World" classification doesn't necessarily mean there's complex life down there: generally, it means that humans can survive on the surface unaided. Atmosphere's breathable, average temperature is neither too high nor too low, and so on. That doesn't necessarily imply the presence of complex life down there.

However, there are cases where ELWs are so young that they shouldn't even have green landmasses yet. But it's not like Frontier have built a check for that in yet; something to always bear in mind is that ELWs will likely change when we get around to landing on them. (Here's hoping many won't be reclassified into water worlds though!)

there are neutron stars reported older than that so, why not? i guess the relevant bit is that the distance to the star would need to be huge ... but no idea how much.

I've found a neutron star system with one lonely planet which was an ELW explain that!

Captured rogue planet, or the other bodies were ejected, or the system only had enough mass left for one planet to form? Lone neutron stars tend to have few bodies orbiting them.
All this in Elite, of course - IANAAP.

Nice. I have an ammonia world orbiting a NS. And I have one like the OP with a EL orbiting a star orbiting a NS. My goal in life is to find a ringed earth-like world with a landable moon, orbiting a gas giant which is orbiting a neutron star.
