Will the PS4 version be up to date with PC?

Greetings, CMDR's.

1. Will the PS4 versions that include Horizons be up to date with Character Creator and the upgraded photo suite?

2. If not, how much of the PC version content can we expect on console?

3. Are there plans to update the PS4 version so that established PC content is added over time?

Yes to 1 and 3 (well the plan will be to update all versions at the same time, as xbox and pc are).

It will be the same most of the time. There will be small interim fixes that PC gets before consoles simply because the added verification processes by Sony and Microsoft can take a few days.

In theory all three platforms should be updated at the same time with a *but* caveat.

Major patches i.e. season updates: Yes, all platforms should get their version of 2.x / 1.x updates at the same time.

Minor patches + bugfixes: Server side, yes, client side usually within a couple of days / weeks of each other. Essentially, on console, FD are restricted to a release schedule that fits in with Microsoft / Sony's own processes plus any unique peculiarities for those systems.

The content should be the same across all systems.

Plus, Apples 1.x content is exactly the same as anyone playing 1.x on any system... (I digress however & that is salt for another thread, in another part of the forum)

If you have Horizons you have access to ALL of the game's features and the patches add additional content to all platforms. So don't worry if we (maybe) get the Panther Clipper (HINT HINT FDEV!) on PC first. When the patch goes through Microsoft and Sony's servers the game will have all of the same content.
