Pope Francis is so much more pope-like than his predecessor, Ratsinger. It is obvious how he feels about Trump. It's just a shame he can't express those feelings in the sort of blunt language Trump's followers would understand.
I don't have full access to the internet when I'm at work. Didn't Trump tweet some nasty things about the Pope? I only have a vague recollection of his response to the whole "building bridges instead of walls" thing.

Regarding Trump, the orange wonder has doubled down on supporting the Salafist Sunni against the Shia. This is utter madness. I think it's high time for the EU to cut loose from American foreign policy. Iran has just re-elected a moderate president, and we need to engage with them. Cooperating and opening up trade relations with Iran would be an excellent idea IMO. They are a much saner partner in the Middle-East than the Saudis.
