Everybody Love Everybody - My new track

Hi Folks,

As noone knows, I'm spending a big percentage of my sparetime producing music, mostly electro/tech house and such. Inspired by the many times I saw this photo (cant insert unfort.) on the Elite forum here and as I'm a big fan of Will Ferrell, I decided to produce this track. Feel free to use the track in your Elite fan movies, if you want to. With the new cam suite, making movies is good fun.

So, here we go! Enjoy!

Is it related to Elite? Could be that it's direct link that people don't want to click on. Could be people with nothing positive to say. Could be that there's nothing to argue about, this is the Dangerous Arguments section of the forum.

Very nice!

While I prefer my house on the more organic end, this is really well produced with good transitions and that subtle "building" feeling that gets there without resorting to a "Big Drop". It's a very well-made track that I will listen to again.

I'm in the market myself for a soundcard that can handle audio production while not forcing me to start splicing wires - I have a self-powered Yamaha subwoofer with a couple of self-powered monitors. Any recommendations?

Could be that there aren't that many house fans on the forums right now, and most people are polite enough not to comment on something they don't particularly care about.

As I said above, I like it.

The only sound card I've ever had was a Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Pro and it had issues with picking up interference here and there. When I stepped into Pro Audio, I picked up an Audio Interface. It's basically an external sound card, but typically has more features and capability for serious production. Currently am still using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6.

Just offering a comment. There was nothing wrong with the track other than not being what I'm into on the electronic front. :)

I meant both PCI and USB adapters when I said soundcard. :)

The issue is my subwoofer. really like it, and I would prefer an interface that offers an independent channel for it, hence my comment about splicing wires. Does the 18i6 do that? It looks to be a good price. I'm also concerned about latency between the instrument (I'm a guitarist) and VSTis - I want to use my guitar as a trigger for synths through Jam Origin.

House and tech house fan here...the link isnt viable goes to a blank page. I do like a bit of chillstep but silence and a blank page dont qualify ^

Goes as low as 1ms. Check the specs or pictures to make sure it has the inputs you need. There are also smaller and newer versions of the Scarlett. It hasn't been the best for gaming, it likes to crash unless I bump up to 10ms when playing audio heavy games, but it was just fine for producing in a DAW with VSTs.

Works just fine for me. Flash player and/or your privacy settings might be an issue. I keep my privacy settings pretty restrictive. Are you running Noscript?

Link still works fine for me. Might be your browser blocking the player.

Ill go with that...Im on the xbone, daughter is using the laptop and all Im getting are dirty looks...Ill check it later. The bones browser can indeed be a bit too family friendly sometimes ^

Wow, folks, so much feedback now. Thank you!

I'll update the link tomorrow with a Soundcloud link.

The connection to Elite is that everyone can use the track for producing videos. And it's where I got the idea for the voacls from. ;-)

Got it now...trancy wee number and a good effort though Id have stretched the intro out a bit more and added a heavier bassline, but thats just me. Most of what I listen to is very dark and progressive underground with heavy, meaty basslines. That track is what ye chill out with and slow the tempo down but yeah, cool gets a plus one ^
