Srv cargo scoop won't stay open.

Since the last update the only way I've been able to use the cargo scoop is by holding B and down on the D pad instead it just being a toggle.
I've seen that some pc users have had this problem but they've been told to go into options and change + I can't seem to find this on Xbox.
I have noticed the new hold input mode on the functions screen but nothing happens when I press it.
Am I missing something really obvious here guys ?

You will have to go into controller settings and set cargo hatch to toggle

How ?
I'm on the controller screen right now and can't see any toggle options .
This is what I mean by am I missing something really obvious.

Does it say release next to the button. If so, click on it and it will say toggle.

No it doesn't say anything .
Is this a case of I'm going to have to rebind my controlls ?
Tbh I can't ever remember seeing release on any of my controlls .

Options > Controls > Miscellaneous > Cargo Scoop [expand] > Button Mode = Toggle

Something that can also trip it up is that there are two options.

Ship Cargo Scoop and SRV Cargo Scoop.

It was driving me nuts until I realized that I had one set to Toggle and one set to Hold.

This actually happened to me and like you OP I couldn't figure it out

I did finally manage to bind the cargo scoop to LT+RT (my SRV scan and fire controls), and I got say I actually prefer it lol. Now I can deploy my cargo hatch, scoop something up, let go and it automatically retracts and I can go on my way. Something that screwed up actually helped me out haha.
