Impossible of all to visit them. But impossible also to visualize them all on the map of the galaxy
I said dark system not dark solar system, way to overcorrect.
Oh and brown dwarfs aren't stars as they did not pass break even conditions so may wanna rethink that one too.
Sooo... Idly playing with a calculator at work, I figure that if this game last (an unrealistic) another 30 years... you need to visit around 105 stars every second, continuously around the clock, in order to see them all in time! Could be problematic.
Sure you did - I was just wondering If dark systems would count torwards the 100/400 billion star system number, and thinking they should not but may count anyway.
And yes, you're absolutely right about the brown dwarven question - for some reason I was thinking about red dwarfs (and can't even claim colorblindness in my defense) - my bad.
...we won't be able to visit that amount of stars in our life time![]()
Frontier needs to let us transfer our accounts to next of kin to carry on for us when we pass.![]()
fine i'll make it a jpg :

Um, so they will be distinctive then...
I take your point, and for those that choose not to go for the planetary landings or walking about expansions (Boggle), they're going to have to contend with some "samey" looking systems. But for the rest of us, hopefully everything will be worth looking at - because there will be significant differences.
