General / Off-Topic US vs UK PS Store difference?

Hmm FDev what's going on. Noticed a difference between the pre-order bonus on the US and UK/EU side...

On the US Store it's says:

Digital Pre-order Details:

Pre-order and receive a bonus after checking out:

ELITE COMBAT RANK AVATAR
ELITE TRADE RANK AVATAR
ELITE EXPLORATION RANK AVATAR
ELITE RANK AVATAR
ELITE CQC RANK AVATAR

Pre-order and receive a Gold paint job for the Sidewinder ship. Exclusive to Pre-order customers.

UK store....

I am not sure it even said about the Sidewinder last week when I pre-ordered.

Why the difference? Can we have the Avatars also please?

Also in future make the contents of the pack obvious as lot of PS4 players don't know what the Commanders pack contains. It's clear on the Frontier Store and Xbox store but not on the PS Store.

What i want to know do the Retail physical Disk versions get the Preorder bonus in North America If not WHY! Do I have to buy both Digital and Physical to receive the preorder bonus? Could one even combine both version on ONE account? I collect games and the Disc version is important to me.

So US gets free PS4 avatar icons? nifty, but yeah, not really a big deal, its nothing in the game itself.
Generally avatar pics are last I checked seen as 'important' in one place, and 'meh' another? US seems to get a ton more of them.

I collect too, preorderd online to play it, and ordered the physical copies of both PS and Xbox, which if sealed will probably never even get opened.
Sad i know, but that's me.

No the Devs. However I can see why they might offer slightly better incentives since the US is potentially a larger market then the UK and they want those sales.

Do other EU or Aus etc peeps get these too then? It's just the UK missing out?

I find these quite funny. Having an Elite rank avatar on day one is a bit like having a Harley Davidson biker's jacket when you haven't even sat on a motorcycle.

The US PS+ also seems to get more free monthly games than we do as well. Sorry, I'm not making things better am I?

Small things mate. Small things. The Avatars are pretty nice. PS+ is Sony and to be honest a lot of months we get better games. Usually slight variations. You'd have thought FDev would spread the love unless Sony did the Avatars?

I've got the mega uber you can't touch me I have SHIELDS armour now. Still got a few more story missions to finish. Must do that next week.

Once I had the shield weaver I hardly ever touched healing herbs and potions, you just have to keep an eye on it's charge and avoid getting hit when it's running low.

That other armour is remarkably popular for some reason ;)
