Also known as the "black fly", these pose more of a threat to humanity than the Thargoids. Perhaps they are Thargoids using Pym particles. Regardless, anyone beside myself suffering from what seems to be an extra bad season of these nasty, evil, little devils from hell? I'm talking IRL, of course.

Their bite is way bigger than their "bark". I think they're called buffalo flies because they can take down a buffalo (or at least drive it crazy) with their sheer numbers. I'd much rather combat one fly the size of a buffalo - this is America after all, we've got guns There ain't no weapon for these diablo-sent nanobot attack drones, however.

Ironically DDT the one sure way of killing mosquitoes killed a few hundred people a year, so the world supposedly banned it. Milaria still kills more than 4,000,000 people a year. Go figure
