yeah but funny how they have a special "in game event" running through out E3 to do with 2.4, and we miss out on it because we don't have the game. no cool decals or participation badges for us yet again

Do they, where can i find details? I'll try and take part on my Xbox account and see if any decals carry over to my PSN CMDR, seeing as its the same Frontier account
okay i watched live stream and it has something to do with a engineer called palin wanting wake and ship scans from unknown alien ship for a CG, and if they complete it by tomorrow palin will give us information on something to do with 2.4 and maybe a blue print will have to rewatch it later on a bigger screen. but after less than 5 minutes they got to tier 2 so it maybe finished but contribute we need the info
Since the title of this thread is E3 Livestream (emphasis on the E3 not ED), the Playstation Presentation starts in about an hour. That's 9:00 PM EST. It's "way late at night / morning" for you over-the-pond folk. I'm going to watch it just in case they show some Elite Dangerous footage. Join me!

Nothing really was said.
There was a short CG which was revealed by listening to a broadcast from an unknown comms satellite in Ross 374. Every 30 mins it would broadcast letters in phonetic which led them to the Pleiades Sector OI-T C7 system, which if you are unfamiliar with it, is the system that has the Barnacles that are getting visitited by Alien ships.
The message told them to go to a base called Orcus Crag on planet A3, and sign up to a CG that ends at Noon today BST. Professor Palin wants scan data from unknown ships and unknown wakes, gathered by getting hyperdicted or being at the barnacles on planet A6 when the ship visits. You get the data by scanning the unknown wake after the ship has bugged out. His request has a cloak and dagger vibe to it. tjere's talks of 'cover ups' and 'secrets revealed.'
I managed to get over there and sign up to the CG on Xbox, and luckily got to see the Aliens at the barnacle after about an hours wait.
The live stream tonight will reveal the results of the CG.......

No, from an ED perspective, it was disappointing. They tricked me because they mentioned a "niche game that has a cult following around the world" which got my attention, but then they showed Monster Hunter from Capcom (which is okay, since I'm a DD DA fan). There is DLC coming to HZD, so that will make many in this forum happy.
Thankfully today we'll get something from ED, though who knows if it will have any PS4 focus.

Ubisoft's presentation made my decade when they announced Beyond Good & Evil 2. And yes, DLC for HZD is good news too
Now to enjoy whatever FDev have to announce in tonights live stream

*laughs* FDev have become Elite salt miners thanks to the forums over the last couple of years. My big interest in tonight's stream is the storyline stuff and I'm hoping the completion of the CG will mean a new Thing to get from Palin to help against hyperdictions / ship system shutdowns. After that a new PS4 news teaser would be good.
well i have unconfirmed reports there is something called a "sodium chloride extraction unit" being rushed into 2.3.10, apparently it makes mining lasers extract said commodity and transport it to FDev for use on deep fried starch products that are popular at there base of operation
