New Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One!

Just wanted to say that I'm incredibly pleased for you guys! Using a HOTAS adds immeasurably to the game in my opinion.

I've added this to the Trending section in my sticky Best of Forum thread in the hope that it gets wider attention.

hard to tell from that picture although the tf 4 doesn't have any buttons where the xbox and menu button is just infront of the stick.

The Xbox (brand) button and the black button with lines look different from the Hotas4, but the rest of the design looks the same (ignoring cosmetics, like colour swapped ring etc). My guess is it's redesigned with the Xbox encryption chip, but otherwise T.Flight X/4/One are the same.

I've always wanted to fly FAOFF 100% of the time but at the moment it's impossible. I've wanted this more than HUD colours, more than multicrew, more than Thargoids

And do that thing of easily switching FA on and off at the end of turns, whilst shooting and without the finger-yoga (great job though FD did on squeezing everything onto the controller).

Here is my concern. I don't intend to be a debbie downer, more of a discussion point.

I had a HOTAS for my PC, and I loved it playing ED. But, with the T.Flight, I needed to bound some functions to the keyboard as there just wasn't enough buttons on the HOTAS for everything, such as landing gear, chaff, heat sink, etc...

My concern is, if this HOTAS is similiar to the T flight, how are we going to map out extra functions? I don't think you can easily map buttons on the HOTAS in the method of, for example, X+Right Dpad, or B+LB.

Aside from that... now I REALLY cannot wait for a good version of Xbox VR WITH a HOTAS for ED. Talk about tenting in the pants!

I say this more often than you think, keyboard support is already here. Battlefield 1 and atroneer have it.
