Where to bring imperial rank?

Where to grind imperial rank?

I know how to do it. I'm at squire currently in empire rank and want baron rank for clipper.

Hip 10716 is dry.
Aditi is dry.
Fehu is dry.
Shu babassi is dry.

By dry I mean max 2 data missions going from the systems to somewhere else, not even same places. 1 maybe 2 donation missions once in a while. I can't grind forever.

Please help, where do I go?

I was just picking up whatever I could find, for the type of play I was doing at the time. I find the mission board tends to offer missions of the type you have been doing, after a couple of runs. Donation missions are there most of the time and I never spend more than 50,000 credits on them, as I don't see any point in spending more as it makes no difference to what you get back. If I am in my fighter, I take on a kill mission of some kind, do it and when I come back, there are a couple more. Plus there are a number of stations in the one system and so I can hope from one to another to stack. I have never mode switched to collect missions and never felt the need to. I spend most of my time mission running for Empire and if I get bored with one type, I change ships and do something else, cargo running, or passengers and I love a bit of smuggling. I have never seen it as a grind, because as I say; if I get a bit bored, I just change mission type and carry on. I always carry an advanced scanner, but never travel more than a 100lys in any one direction. I am now Allied with most of the minor factions within a 100ly radius of Cubeo, but only friendly with the main faction, because I don't log on often enough. However: Drop a few bounties into the local empire station and up goes the reputation.

This. Went from Master to Duke in 3 weeks, and made 1.5 billion along the way. Whatever you do, DO NOT accept rank up missions. Just keep grinding rank for a month at 100% and not only will you be well past Clipper rank, you might even be past Cutter rank as well.

i got my empire ranks at reeves dock - dakshalli system

and i also just checked it for you before posting this... they still do donations
this is one of many donations missions i just saw

I got Baron by going to Cubeo and working from there. Lots of delivery and donation missions. I bought a Clipper and ended up selling it a week later.

I then went to Viscount without even trying just by zipping around Imperial space playing the game.

Pick an Imperial system..
do a few missions for all/any Imperial Factions on any bases in that sytem..
stay in that sytem for a while.. the more rep you get with the resident factions, the more missions and better payouts come available.
Once you are Allied in that system with all/any Imperial Factions, then either choose another Imperial System and repeat..
..or stay there and bleed it for all the rep you need ;)
