Of course. Yep it's pretty simple to do. It's not great as it makes your screen smaller and puts a bar by the side with the chat window up, but I can live with that. I have fibre broadband so speeds should be fine.

Funnily enough I did a little test the other day and fired it up whilst I was starting a game on FIFA. Must have been 30 seconds, just the loading screens. I got two comments from YouTube channels saying "HEY GREAT STREAM GUY WE LOVE YOUR WORK"

The only downside is that you can't read the comments people write. Dunno if you're ok with that.

I wondered if you could. I'm going to see how readable the text is on my telly and may switch the PS4 to a monitor on a desk in the study if I struggle. I would like people to be able to ask questions. Although I may "change my mind" ™ ;-)

Since you have the bandwidth, you could disable comments on PS4 and watch your own stream on a 2nd device in order to see the comments. Since you don't need to see the video, you could dial it way down to the lowest quality / resolution (144p I think) to save bandwidth, and maximize the comment section.

Good thinking buddy; the stream is about 10 seconds behind so it will be a bit of a halted response but we can see how it goes!

I put in for "vacation" days on the 27th and 28th. So I will start playing as soon as the countdown reaches 0 (assuming the servers don't explode) for as long as I possibly can before I'm too tired to keep my eyes opened. I'll probably sleep for 4 or 5 hours before excitement wakes me up again.

Quite a few people have mentioned they would like to watch it. People who are new to the game and can't start right away. People from other platforms who haven't seen lots of people gathered together in the same place for some time. Yeah it's not #dayone for Elite Dangerous but it is #dayone for PS4 and lots of people like the excitement around that.

please don't take this the wrong way but what will be worse cause of death in the first day, my little top 5 list so far is
1) killed by mail slot leaving/landing on station for first time
2) killed by cops for using weapons in a no fire zone
3) just crashing in general
4) killed with a smile by stormyuk and/or old duck, the Sith squad
5) killed NPC sidewinder after first jump to new system

I'd got it in my head the two options were in the same system, one was a planet and the other a space station. My track record of getting things spectacularly wrong remains intact =]
