PS4 community goal

This is a community goal that I hope we are able to accomplish.
Be different from the PC part of the fanbase. Simple, IMO the PC fans are incredibly whiny; negative and impacient. I know they have their right to complain but the lenghs they go to find even the most miniscule thing to complain about, even when they have +800 hours in game(I once saw a YT comment that boiled down to "I have 750 hours in the game. Thanks for nothing, FDev") or people saying that Mr.Braben is a hack and a fraud(some even comparing him to Molyneux or Sean Murray).
What pains me is seeing people who defend ED being labeled as "blind fanboys" so let's try to be different from the majority of the fanbase. IDK how the Xbox fans are but hopefully not as bad as the PC fans.

I loved Elite in the 80's, even though it hadn't 1/20th of the features in ED. There were only 3 missions in the entire game that were freed after a certain amount of kills. There was only one ship you could choose from, in fact there wasn't anything to choose from. You had a Cobra MK3 through your entire career. Space stations had no interiors, when you entered you immediately were on the tradescreen.
There were no SRV's or planetary landings. There were at least lots of fights with Thargoids, my god these were vicious fights.
But even without all these features, Elite was great fun, my most beloved game ever.
I look forward to playing it on PS4, and be grateful to Mr. Braben to share his vision with us. Thank you David, I wholeheartedly mean this.

One more week, I almost can't wait to play this magnificent game again. But now in it's full glory. Hip, hip, hurray!!! :)

The stellar forge as it stands today is a work of art,a marvel of modern coding. And its only going to get better.
On this long journey to the completion of this gaming masterpiece, there will be problems cropping up,parts of the game that worked just fine will be broken.
It's not for everyone, even when we have fully fleshed out earthlike planets with complexed lifeforms,it won't be for everyone.
Best to just enjoy the journey.
Criticize yes,but try to be constructive and most importantly be polite.
FD read all these posts,a good idea's a good idea and if its put over without the salt your ideas could very well change this game for the better.

Too much salt is bad, M'kay.

Sign of the times maybe. When I grew up we tried to find others that had the same likes as yourself. Today it seems finding others that hate the same things yourself is more common. I see it mostly on the internet where you can hide behind a user name. I hope it's just a fad. Elite Dangerous is a game I enjoy and have played it on PC also! I take it with a grain of salt, they can dislike it all they want but that's not me. Its an opinion they have but I have one also and it's far from the same. You can not argue their statement of dislike but only reply "i am sorry YOU feel that way, but I do not FEEL the same as you. Their is no right or wrong in taste or feelings we all have them. Some are just a little obsessive and can not let go and move on.

+1 rep for a well thought out reply

I'm a PC player and I've started hanging out on the console forums due to the negativity from the PC players over a game which I have gotten so much out of and continue to. There seems to be no room for positivity and yeah the game has flaws but absolutely nothing that warrants the constant whining. I'm also thinking of picking it up on PS4 too for a fresh start.

We're a bit weird over here (well those people are, not me), but we're all relatively nice. Just don't take Bill too seriously :)
