I wasnt going to comment on this thread, but I thought I would share my view.
Why Kornelius stopped making youtube videos was based on a personal choice on how he felt about the game. Some of those reasons I agree with, others not so much. But that's cool, we all interact with the game on different levels and have certain expectations when playing a game. Obviously his expectations were not being met, and I cant blame him at all. The most recent nerf of the AI and a non functional crime and punishment system were some of those reasons.
His videos however were extremely useful, and technically very informative, even if his personal views of the game were becoming more and more negative. I think the community will miss his content, however the game will go on and so will the community. Casual gamers, veteran players could all find something useful in his videos, I know I certainly did, and even though his departure will have minimal effect on the game itself, I still think its important to recognize his contribution and maybe it might offer a window for the devs to look through and see that some of their choices are perhaps not in the best interest of the game or community. Sure, he is just one guy, but he reflects a reasonable portion of the communities concerns about the game, myself included.
