Yes, this time next week I will be fast asleep having worn myself out with all the excitement and staying up all night for the download!
This is going to be a long week for all of us, I have even been going to bed earlier than usual because its just one more day closer to 27.
yeah this time next week il b at work going is it 4pm yet? is it 4pm yet? is it 4pm yet, il then get home knowing my ED has downloaded and then................................................oh, real life has kicked in ?@@?@@ and il have other stuff to deal with.................mostly wifertaining, then around 8pm(hopefully) il be yyyyyyyyyyiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeee, pew pew pew, paoew paoew paoew
don't forget to scream "where the hell did that rock/mail slot/fer de lance/thargoid come from, and wheres my rebuy gone?"

I hate being a doom bringer but just stumbled on a tweet from Sony that they'll be taking down the Sony network for a hour 06:00 to 07:00 on the 27th.

Yeah normally if you login Before psn maintenance starts you are able to stay online

That says you can login during the maintenance. So I don't think its going to stop anyone doing anything.
Doom Bringer would make a nice ship name.
It does say Playstation Store will be down. I'm definitely turning on PS4 on 25th and making sure ED downloads early. Hopefully the store app isn't required to "activate" ED on the 00:00:00 timer (not Frontier activation, but any validation regarding preorder vs. active game).
