FDev, you just upset a *lot* of people.

If I had used the cheat and got caught and lost all my upgrades, I would've felt ashamed rather than angry. Ashamed that I even used the cheat ones and then blame myself for being so dumb trying it. Perhaps I would be somewhat upset for losing all the upgrades, but in the end, I would know the blame would be completely on me, not FDev.

It's funny, while I strongly approve of frontier taking action - I actually think they may have been a bit too lenient. In another internet spaceships game I've played, the exploiters might have been permabanned or had all of their assets seized and their credit balance set negative.

They shouldn't.

I'm saying whoever exploits their game mechanics in the first place to get an advantage thats totally not intended should be punished.
Good! We agree.
As I've stated before I DID NOT USE THE EXPLOIT, I AM FINE,
Me neither. I didn't accuse you of sploiting, by the way. That said...
HOWEVER I understand the pain that they're going through, I did all my rolls legitimate however, I'm saying that Fdev is being rather lenient on other exploits because they view them as "Not as serious" due to their own bad game design, meanwhile they're punishing those who engineered heavily because they sought a way to get an advantage by wiping out all modules associated with that one that they cheated with. So yes, they are punishing one part of the community, mainly the PVPers because they know that we rely on engineering so heavily to justify use of such an exploit, just as much as someone wants credits to buy 3 anacondas with their money exploits over the past two years of game development.
No. just no.

First of all, a game exploit is, at the end of the day, whatever the devs define one to be. Harmless Anacondas might even be fun to kill in a Sidey or the like.

Players in a hurry is not bad game design. Players attempting to make a competitive game out of one that clearly isn't capable of being one at its core is not bad game design (PvE rules this game). Players who will choose to exploit is not bad game design.

The key word is justify. You're basically placing the responsibility on the developers for the choices people made. Choices that rely on a glitch. If one wants a fair PvP game, that simply isn't justifiable. With regard to Quince or whatever else get-rich-quick scheme is flavour of the month, Harmless Anacondas aren't exactly a balanced PvP encounter in anything but the most basic vessel. Such pilots are unlikely to develop the appropriate skills anyway.

I should also state, I love the game too much to see it fail.
You and I both. However, I would suggest that FD gaining a reputation for being soft on cheaters is a far more direct route to killing the game than certain elements of the community complaining about grind.

2) The god mods are gone

I'd partially agree with that - they were gone...

so there's none out there now and that makes a HUGE difference.

It's been what, 8 hours now since the mods were removed? Time enough to roll a fresh set. Even time enough to collect materials for several dozen G5 rolls and see what comes of it. Sure, you won't find a completely god-modded ship by now - but a lot of ships with good G5 mods? Very well possible. So I wouldn't count on it.

Yes, some people used these god rolls to give themselves god ships without the matching combat skills. But quite a few other PvPers will still be very good combat pilots, even without god-modded ships. Whether that clipper boosts at 550 m/s or at 600 m/s may make a difference in PvP clan fights, where everyone has the same mods. It won't make a difference to a trader in a T-9 or a 'conda who hasn't even bothered to unlock Prof. Palin.

Which incidentally may explain the lenient response of FD - for a lot of players, there will be no perceptible difference.

Qoute from unnamed CMDR: "You're losing players pulling this stuff, guys."

As a response I will buy additional account, paint jobs and bobbleheads to compensate FD for their "loss".

The devs are working with the thargoids, sheeple... They are attempting to disarm humanity for the coming invasion!

Exploit your network connection to avoid destruction and exploit sothis/robigo/stacking or any other credit farming exploit you like to your hearts content but don't you DARE exploit the RNGineers!

Once they can fix network disconnects at their end, and can prevent a player causing another to "combat log" using firewall rules. Once they can identify a forced disconnect at the customer pc versus for instance, an ISP fault or a power fault. Once they can offer a solution for those with children, pets or front doors... Then I'll say fine, let's do it.
Until then, there will be far to many false positives. It's not like an obvious exploit such as the rngineers one being discussed.
Of course, you may have a way to prove all these. If so, I'm sure FDev are hiring.

So...i've read on reddit that apparently pretty much every major PVP groups are leaving the game, due to the lack of motivation to legit reroll their ship.

Meaning that "pretty much" every major PVP groups were involved in this. Interesting.

If they can only pvp using exploited ships, then good riddance to bad rubbish.

Open might be safe from gankers non-consensual PvP? :x
