It's my way of saying that I'm like the Doctor (or the dog) - if I'm in the neighborhood, I'll help out, but I'm not ready for any long-term commitments to a group or faction. Any other "hobos" out there?

Sounds like a good approach to take. Looks like my reply was saying "I'm as grumpy as Relic."
