I have a laptop from the stone age and never bought an Xbox.
Good to know that the verdict of someone who has seen both PC and Xbox versions think that the PS4 version is shaping up nicely.
I am very elitist when it comes to graphics.
I would call what FD did engineering , they min maxed everything it seems.
For example when you dock at a station the scale , the soundscape are all present.
If you look very , very close you can see that the LOD is a bit lower. but thats not something you are going to notice in gameplay.
Same with planets , the close up details are good , they lowered the LOD but they seemed to have picked the best possible distance to do it as its only noticeable (I think) if you see both versions in the same day or something like that.
My brother told me that the online community is great. its mostly silent unless you ask someone a question , he has winged with fellow CMDRs at random and never had issues (Wings is underated TBH, I use Wings with IRL friends and randoms)
The ships , objects , stations and special effects all look good to me. I think the only things that are not present are the tiny minor details light light reflections on the end of the SRV (like in the stream) but Ps4Pro will have those turned on.
On top of that the background galaxy and nebula look fine and the star count in the background looks like its the same as on PC with ultra.
FD said that base PS4 version will be like the Xbox version , whiles the pro version will have more of the ''ultra'' settings turned on.
