PS plus and board switching

So only if i have ps+ am i able to refresh mission boards? That would be a very unfortunate side effect, because it heavily impacts how fast you can earn money legitimately.

Well, good i noticed that, because i don't have ps+ but used board refresh to gather missions that have the same destinations or require sourcing of the same commodity etc. Without that the progression would be too slow for me. I never do the skimmer stacking stuff. But when starting out from zero a decent progression would be important to me.

No PS+ means you'll be playing in Solo mode. I'm pretty sure that has zero effect on things like missions. I'm even somewhat confident that you can still do CGs, just "alone", which I believe some folks choose to do because CGs draw griefers like flies to cow patties.

Hadn't thought about this  yep, if you haven't got ps+ private group and open will be greyed out and unselectable!

Cg's are fine in solo without ps+ tho so you're right od :)

What the OP is talking about is mode switching - switching between open, solo and private group to refresh the mission board and get more missions than would otherwise be available.

If it's a cheat then the majority of ed players are cheating lol 😁 It's just an unfortunate side effect of the crappy mission population system the game uses to be fair!

Wrong the minority who do it, lie to themselves that everybody is doing as they know it is not playing within the spirit of the game.

From Admiral James Tiberus Kirk on the Kobyashi Maru: 'I changed the conditions of the test; got a commendation for original thinking. I don't like to lose.'

In any game, there will be those who push the limits. For those who played WoW, remember going under the world in Alterac Valley???

I think players that were board hopping to abuse the massacre missions by stacking 20 of them were going against the spirit of the game but checking out the available missions in the other modes and stacking a few deliveries is just a good idea!

I like your thinking :)

It's down to fdev to improve the mission generation system to make board hopping obsolete :) I'd love to have the free time to wait ten minutes for the board to refresh if they're no available missions for my ship and playstyle 👍

Cheat is such a harsh word. Perhaps using what the game offers to optimize performance. :)

Not that engineering thingy.... That is a cheat. [woah]

A rose by any other name is an exploit. If it's available and no one utilizes it, is it still an exploit. If one uses any exploit that FDev deems cheating, than either they should fix it or keep stay completly out of the loop. They designed it, but I bought it, it's mine to utilize as I deem fit. Spill salt if ya want, but the choice to utilize any exploit that the designers have installed for what ever reason or purpose is not "Cheating", where as they have the power to fix it and don't, why should a player be condemed. The whole entire game is subject to making choices, your's in general can and probably will differ than mine. It's only a game after all, you own it, play it.

Question, Your a cop in real life, I think cops suck, does that mean you suck? Odds are you'd say NO! But hey, doesn't my point of view matter, if not, I going to cry (salt), and tell my mom (FDev) your not fair, because you don't agree with me.
