It's a shame that I have to drag myself through this swamp when I want anything to happen, because it's the only place where frontier looks for feedback.
Who would have thought that FD looks for feedback in the game's official forum...

Adapt or quit?
Maybe a better solution....
INVITE TO WING
OPEN VOICE COMMS
REQUEST DUEL / ACCEPT DUEL
One player sends a duel request to another. If you are in a wing of 4, the other player will see "CMDR X (Wing 4/4) Wants to Duel".
Accepting a duel would allow:
- Players to drop a "PVP Beacon", like a wing beacon, for easier instancing
- No crimes are logged to those in the duel against each other
- Anyone interfering and not in the duel would receive crimes for attacking
- After the duel is over, the winners receive credits equivalent to the re-buys of their fallen opponents, with a multi-crew-like session report, showing damage stats
No, this makes no sense. I'm not the one who started the fight, and I wouldn't start it if I knew he's not interested in a fight in the first place. I'm not a criminal, I'm not a ganker, I just came there to duel.
Upping the punishment for crimes is such , when it's extremly easy to exploit the crime detecting system, and saying that this is a legit tactic is pure idiocy.

Already did.
So why bother with PvP in game at that point then. You may as well have CQC with normal ships in a separate game mode. HECK LETS GO ONE STEP FURTHER, LETS TAKE THE GUNS OFF ALL THE SHIPS IN OPEN, AMIRITE!?!?
Thargoid content for pews? NAW!
I honestly don't understand, if it's a agreed fight why can't you agree to pop next door to the uninhabited system to do it ?
What about going to a CG to try and stop the other side from winning by eliminating it a participating players.
Because it's annoying to jump out-in-out-in. Also PVP ships don't carry fuel scoops and many times have undersized fuel tanks and FSDs, and the CG station can be far away from the system entry point.

It's no different than a players using an FdL to attack a Hauler. It's not fair, but that's ok.
Yeah, new C&P improvements, all nice.
But this is all extremly easy to abuse against other players. Dishonorable PVPers who will interdict you asking for a duel, but turn crimes ON when they start losing, or people who lure you into shooting first. You will become wanted and all of these C&P improvements will punish YOU even though you're not the one who started a fight. We've also seen fights where the enemy wing had crimes OFF but they had a healer with them who had crimes ON. Shooting the healer made you wanted, even though they started the fight and all of them were wanted except the healer.
There has to be a clear way of telling who has crimes ON and who has them OFF. This way we can also tell who's looking for a fight and thus not waste time on PVEers. The option should be locked during fights to prevent switching and luring too.[alien]
