My first hour impression on the normal PS4

This is only a one hour session I have done in training to see how the handling of the gamepad/gameplay , sound , visuals/image are .

The sound is good
The handling of the gamepad is good but you have to get used to it but this will be no problem.
Visual/image (how the game looks ) , that reasonable but I'm also a bit disappointed , and the screen tearing are there to .
What the core game has to bring I still have to see and understand but that will take some times .
I also tried to fly without fly assistants moeoeowaahaaa hahaha very hard to master this yet

Now back to the second training , docking and flying back out of the station I think is the second training .

FD are pretty good about getting onto graphics fixes. Give them time it will be sorted.
That is my experience with Xbox.

Scan your way to Sag A and you'll see more than just space-sky...!

I believe the event you were referring to was a natural phenomenon called the Borg Cube of Death, because it was caused by a memory leak that would inevitably lead to a crash.

Xbox One had some of the most interesting post-patch bugs. GPP was a roller coaster.

My experience of GPP was just more frequent crashes tbh. Still, nothing will ever trump the start of the Git Guddening, when NPCs got those mental bugged hybrid weapons.

Disco 'condas were AMAZING though...!

Now a bit further in the game experience and I like it already .

Man what a diversity and possibility you can do with the gamepad while flying your ship I like it but my brain has to get used to it , going a bit loco but that is ok
The combination up down left right throttle forwards backwards yawing and soooo on creasyyyyyy .

Some questions
1: the hole me can this only be used in solo , open or in group because I don't find it for the moment ?
2: In training when trying to learn to fly with the Siderwing there is MASS LOCKED enabled on the right side of the panel , if possible in training can this been disabled ?

1. Yes it's accessible on solo or open play
2. Mass locked means your too close to something big like a planet or station.

1) Its in all modes. Its in the ship (right panel, first tab, bottom-right) and in station services (top right).
2) No. Mass-locked means you are in the vicinity of something Very Heavy, such as stations, planetary surfaces or asteroid fields. You need to move away from whatever it is to jump. Beyond that, it doesnt hinder you.

Can you PS4ers play the full game yet? If so have you visited any planetary landing pads (on the base PS4). How's the frame rate? I'm asking because Frontier have messed up the Xbox version again. Lags like hell. Was buttery smooth before the recent update.

Yes should be possible to play already full game , but I'm still in training motion mode .
Still got to learn the ropes a bit .

Yeah I've landed at a few, wouldn't say the frame rate was perfect but it didn't lag and is certainly playable.

Think they've done a good job so far and it runs quite well on a launch model PS4, I've not got into any fights yet as I'm used to using a HOTAS on PC and not that confident with the controller (did win the only interdiction attempt I've faced though) so don't know if the frame rate will hold up when there's a lot going on.
