Possibly not - lots of other listening posts end in similar set pieces (sans thargoids until now). Looking forward to following your trail tomorrow, sounds fun from the forum [up]

Checking around HIP 16378 3B. The nav computer shows that there's a landable station on the moon but there's nothing on the surface map...

Currently in low orbit around the dark side. This is weird. And the message on the listening post is weird, too.

This is bizarre. The nav shows 5 landable stations out here.. 3B and 4B-4E but zero pop out here. Maybe there's more of these huge sites like what was discovered earlier today.

Given you can see these new sites from orbital cruise it'll make finding more rather easy if you know the systems to look in.
They get much bigger when you drop to glide, but before that they look like a small octagonal crater with a green tinged outline.
I foresee lots of people flying upside down in OC over planets in the near future.
This was pretty exciting yesterday - I streamed the whole time we heard about the signal until it was decoded.
I went over to help Mykl pretty fast when he found the relay at Celaeno - I shared the important log 3/6 early on my stream so others could start decoding while I tried to get all the logs - in case there were more information there: https://youtu.be/lnEdUggOHMU?t=6532.
