Where are these leads coming from?
Well ,I have visited the first two sites and they appear to be identical.
So that rules out a crash landing anyway.
The types of data being given do suggest that its all about info for engineers to make weapons/counters. But, its early days.... we have only just found these sites really.
And those fumerole things are not scannable? (and the eggs! although I did accidently run one over when I bounced off the large structure [big grin] scrambled Tharg anyone?)

Looking more like some kind of hatchery, or remnant of the sites that the flowerships came from (In my totally uninformed opinion)
I reserve the right to completely change my mind when new evidence turns up....
And while I am making things up.... Does anyone else think that the Scavengers look more "mechanical" where the Flowerships, Alien Site looks more Organic??

HIP 16378 3B seems clear, the other moons in the system need to be checked.
How big are the alien flower ships? This doesn't look like a base and it look like the flower ships "footprint". Like the Flower ship has been down there growing inside some kind of shell like butterfly Caterpillar use Butterfly case to transform into Butterfly.

Yep we're out here too. Four of us went arount it and found nothing. So now we've moved to planet 4 and split up at the moons.
There's a listening post saying someone found something big and unidentified in HIP 16378 and that he was going to stake a claim on it. Then when you go to HIP 16378 there's a listening post saying he's responding to a distress beacon near 3B. We've searched 3B and have moved to the other moons in the system now. We won't be finished tonight though.
Anyone else getting a Windows popup error message when trying to scoop commodities at the large structure? I get the following and nothing shows up in my cargo bay.

I'm repeating what I've said few hours ago, after the discover: now that we know that both UA and UP act as a key to enter the structure, can we safely assume THEY ARE NOT HUMAN MADE?

I think that's a reasonable conclusion.
Might still be MADE FOR HUMANS though
It would awesome if at a future point you visit these sites and all that is there is a massive crater. Ie its a buried mothership that will take off!!
