I'm at the first structure, and I noticed on the outskirts at the base of some of the spiky structures is a canister called "unknown biological matter" ... Anyone else found these yet? Obviously the centre of the structure is going to be the point of interest, but there's stuff around the outer areas as well.

The unknown biological matter also causes toxic corrosion.

4th site on Col 285 sector CV-Y D57 AB 4 A 4.78 / 136.27 Located by eye, was close race to discover. Eyeballed on video at IGT 7:35:37
( cant show that to the public as contains much swearing and celebrations , you might find it on my channel unlisted )

Same as previous 3 sites.. Copy paste?

Did have a nice view shortly after of the Pleiades over the horizon.

Glad I can find these, they're like giant barnacle sites. Can search from SC low orbit rather than dropping down before seeing them. Daylight side more difficult, night side far easier.

I get these too and think it's either EDEngineer or EDDiscovery that causes it, didn't check it properly though.

FYI I believe this was part of the thread last night and leads to first large alien ruin

I didn't see anything before, and there was no mention of PSJ-17 in this thread before I posted, so I'm not sure. I'll post images of the logs just in case.

These structures may be similar to our stations. Per the post from earlier, I'm beginning to think that these structures purposefully dug themselves into the surfaces of these moons to lay dormant for a period of time. I don't think the Thargoids fled the galactic arm; I think they've been here the whole time.

The scavengers? Maybe they're not from the outside/space but rather from inside the structure and they're collecting raw materials in preparation for the re-launch of these structures or perhaps creation/launch of more flowerships that are currently in the ground.

Didn't Han_Zen post the descriptions of Unknown Link etc & they were to be found in "large wreck sites". If I'm remembering that correctly then presumably these are large wreck sites!

The types of data being given do suggest that its all about info for engineers to make weapons/counters. But, its early days.... we have only just found these sites really.

And those fumerole things are not scannable? (and the eggs! although I did accidently run one over when I bounced off the large structure [big grin] scrambled Tharg anyone?)
