Has anyone tried activating the Galaxy Chamber with a bunch of Gaurdian Artefacts spread around the room? They glow green/blue normally, but perhaps they might chime or sing in the vacinity of this chamber being activated?

Take the unknown link into space and do science on it. I do hope CMDRs on the ground have had the prescience to grab a few and store them on ship.

Perhaps if you're hyperdicted with one of those in your hold you'll get blasted by the Thargs

If look on this "galaxy map" you will notice that some stars (btw i think they are habitable systems of two factions but nvm) are too hight or too low to theoretical galaxy disk. Young "galaxy"?
And if compare our Milky way and this "galaxy" it is clear that stellar density or habitable systems density are extrimly low.

I was wondering if the yellow (or white) systems shown are what the UPs have reported-ammonia worlds? Other Tharg presence?

I'm telling you it will all end in tears, you are trampling upon an alien power. Is it scientific, let alone wise, to try and activate these facilities on when we have not the slightest idea of their function? I am truly shocked at the behaviour of these so-called "scientists". The Cannon in particular have revealed themselves to be a bunch of free-booting pre-enlightenment yahoos.

Why don't we think it's just our Galaxy? I'm always for the simplest explanation...

Im hoping its a star map for ours myself however if it was another galaxy it would most likely be that one. as for m101 yes however m101 hasnt got as you would say 2 arms the form a star pattern but more like a collection of as we call space dust.

So yesterday I go to sleep after 1 unknown site was found. Now after waking up a few more sites have been found and they also got inside and activated it. There is really no time for bed or you gonna "miss" all the fun

That's right - but I had hoped they'd had gone forward not THAT clumsy gabbling all around the whole time so that noone can understand a thing. All in all it seemed and sounded not very..... scientific . At least they didn't shoot......

How do you even get a probe into your SRV? Do I have to jettison it from my ship, land and then pick it up? I keep getting errors when I do it the 'transfer cargo' way?
