well, thats interesting news! So we might have to re-check some of the other candidates in range between 100 and 120 LY to Merope as well I guess, as in September to November 3302 when the investigation upon UP spawning was ongoing, there seemed to be nothing to be found there...

Nice finding. So we're looking for a 4th device labeled "I--" in the UP sonogram? It must be something like this. Perhaps we generally should have a closer look at the UP sonogram again, it may help to decode the new one. In particular at the lines & angles, they're there for a reason.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that after it was said "there are more of these buildings", every one of the star systems shown has some sort of alien structure, and all can be found in the game at the moment (before 2.4 releases).
But I guess at the end of the day we are just waiting for 2.4

But that's a representation of how two merging black holes propagate gravitational waves - not really sure how that could possibly relate to the spiral of glowing lights inside the chamber. They look similar, sure, but why would gravitational waves have anything to do with anything?

In the spectrogram it seems to serve no other purpose other than a direct data link. It collects no information itself but relays it, which fits with what happens in the base when you combine all 3 it makes star chart data, the UA and the UP sending it back via the UL?
