Just tried Orb + Casket in my SRV when I scanned the Activation Pillar inside the Galaxy Chamber: No affect, regular Galaxy Map.
And why are the dots in the middle of the top/bottom circles different (one is solid and one is hallow)?
Maybe it's an indicator of race?
Hey guys, this message is probably going to be forgotten in the flood of other messages, but I just encountered Thargs at the barnacle at Pleiades Sector OI-T C3-7 on PS4 while I was farming Meta-alloys. It appeared the 3rd time right after I restarted in solo (was in my SRV). So for those who want to see it, instance reset may help.

Okay, from now on with tests:
1) Try scanning the central pillar when carrying Relics + other Gaurdian items.
2) Try scanning the central pillar with any of the Gaurdian Artefacts locked into the positions where the UA, UL and UP are supposed to be.
Just scanned the central pillar after getting 2x Ancient Relics floating on 2x of the platforms, and it caused the entire structure to go haywire. My turret starting shooting by itself, and my PIPS were moving by themselves too - it's like my SRV was being taken over!

Unfortunatley lost all my other Gaurdian Relics and all Artefacts, Probes and Links - can someone else try jamming some of the other Gaurdian Artefacts in there?

If that is the case, then someone who is over at the California nebula should find a system there that matches the map displayed in the image. I'm gonna try to break it down.
- Seems to be a Single Star system
- 9 Planetary bodies
- Planet 5 has a body in its orbit or near it, possible speculations as to what it is
- Body in orbit is a single moon
- Body in orbit is Planet 6 and it is forming a barycenter with Planet 5
- Body is just really close to it though not enough to form a barycenter
- None of the planets seem to have rings
- The four outer planets seem to be gas giants (though there can be margin for some of those to be brown dwarves and/or T Tauri stars)
- The four inner planets (and the body orbiting the fifth planet) seem to be terrestrial worlds (planet 1 seems to be of considerable size assuming it isn't a gas giant)
- Doesn't seem to be an asteroid belt in the system

But have we talked about the space whales? Because I think we should..
Space whales. Barnacles. UA/UP make whale noises. Thargoids are insectoid. We are missing something here.
Do the Thargoids just use the biological material from the space whales as a resource?
Is this really just Guardians AI evolved and using this as a template/resource for it's "body"?

Great stuff! Obviously the relics are somewhat compatible with the unknown device, but what about the other guardian artifacts?
Since people have already jumped to the conclusion that there was conflict between the guardians and the thargoids, I must point out that this may just be a malfunction of the device. Perhaps the tech in the relics is close enough to be accepted by the unknown device but in fact incompatible.
Looks to be your SRV is having serious malfunctions from internal damage, possibly not from the reaction?

anyone think the UL spectrogram has any correlation to the UP spectrogram? the UP one does show the same -|| marking with transmission in the direction of the planet

I think what we need to do now is just continue with Alliance stuff Gol. I hope Canonn follows us.
Sap Core is Alliance we are the leading Aliiance faction and I hope Canonn will follow our lead as well as the GCF.
If them Thargs attack then we are all out full kill, We have the ships and firepower and we also have the location.
If me and Sword disagree a lot then we agree on loads of other things.
Lets just stick to our thing and see what occurs.
