If you enter the central dome of the structure from above, you end up at kind of a photo-shutter. Has anyone tried to get down there in a suitably small ship (I entered it with a fighter) with a UP/UA on board? Maybe it could be an alternative entrance/launch silo? It looks like.

I've just recorded some footage of the UL and UA "talking" to each other, which is why I asked about it. I didn't want to mention something here that had already been tested.
Possibly to distinguish it from another orbit line. Also, it does tie in nicely with how 'roid belts are displayed on our system maps.

Did you notice if the UL was aligning itself with anywhere? *edit: I'm going to be playing around with this myself later today, hopefully.
