Am I the only one that has issues with reading the CAPTCHA for the store login?

I normally have no problem with these, however for the FD store, the color schema in use makes it next to impossible to read, I have to refresh it 4@5 time's before I get one that i can read.

I find it quite hard, too.

There's a forum somewhere that you can send pictures of your captcha too, and they'll help decode it for you. Lol

Or you can keep refreshing.

Nope. It's a ridiculously difficult capture, and I've played the captcha game so long that I can recognise store fronts and road signs from a thousand miles away.

to be honest when i want to buy something i use the steam store to bypass these anoying things

I call them CRAPTCHAs. Consumer-repellant anti-progress tool containing hidden agenda.

The particular one they use is just bloody hard to read on any of my displays, whether it's 1680x1050, 1080p or 2560x1600 resolution.

I can't recall the first one ever working. I'm sure that when I logged in recently, I put the right letters in, since it was a fairly obvious one. Perhaps FD has an automatic fail on the first effort to somehow block bots. The second one pretty much always works.

Yeah, it's like that for me too. I'm zooming in my display and when I'm 100% certain I'm reading it right it still fails, then the second try works. Usually. If not, at least the third or fourth. It's a conspiracy.

Interesting, I almost made a post last night about it. I had the exact same experience, I think I may refresh a CAPTCHA once every 4 or 5 months, last night I had to do it multiple times. Plus it's only hard for humans, that style of CAPTCHA is easier for a computer to resolve since lines are easily recognized and removed.

CAPTCHAs have always been hilarious. At times, they even convince ME that im a robot.

How can i read that! That J is so vague it looks like every letter of the bloody alphabet!

Its worse when you get the math sum ones and you cant figure it out without a calculator!
