Now that weapon colors and thruster trail colors are in you should give the major factions their corresponding colors. It would make conflict zones more visually interesting for sure.

Federation - red
Empire - blue
Alliance - green

Yeah they have fleets. They predominantly use FDL ships which are good. They just don't have capital ships and the like ext.

Military forces aren't coloured by affiliation anymore. We stopped doing that 1400 years ago. xD
