Ugh.. I was playing last night, its 12:43am (way past my usual bed time as I have to be up at 5am)
I land and just have a glance at the passenger lounge (mistake) and theres a sweet 1.4m passenger mission and it's only 38ly, so I go for it.

then another.

then another.

then I look at the clock and its 4:32am :eek::eek::eek:

Needless to say I'm dead on my feet today and just got home 20 mins ago. ...what am I doing now? playing Elite.

lol, Frontier you got me addicted, I've not missed a nights sleep because of a game for many many years.

I need sleep now, goodnight ....oh wait, maybe just one last trip. ;)

LOL love this story and I feel what you say. I've the same exact problem... Also I've quitted my lunch pause bike trainings... :rolleyes:

I crashed into the back of a station last night because I fell asleep while entering the mail slot!! It was 12:45am and I am usually asleep by 10pm on weekdays due to having to get up for work at 5am. Luckily I didn't blow up. The jolt of the crash knocked the controller out of my sleepy hands but I was able to pick it up and recover after losing my shields and escaping the pinball-ness with 11% hull.

Oh hey, there's a mission that's only 7 jumps away for really good money, I should take that quickly before it expires!

RIP sleep... We know this well. We've all been there :)

On a serious note, though, while it's fantastic you're all loving the game - and dedicated to it, too! - we do want to make sure you're not over-stressing your bodies and minds just to play! Look after yourselves, CMDRs. Your well-being is just as important to us.

I did that today. I work nights so my game time is limited during the week to a few hours during the day. I also picked up the T. Flight Hotas 4 today so I spent sometime setting it up and getting used to it. I saw a quick delivery mission for over 100,000K and decided I had time. Landed and delivered it and made the mistake of checking the mission board. Saw another delivery for another 100,000K and plotted the course. It was one jump away with the fastest route selected. So of course I grabbed it. 30 minutes later it too was delivered. But then I only got 4 hours of sleep for a 12 hour shift. Right now I just want to be home and playing some more Elite.

Feel the same, have played with a friend two nights straight until 4am. The time flies by when playing this game ;)
