I guess when invisible boxes spawn around them and almost one shot your ship...

Well it kinda looks like a bug or something. It is rotating around looking at things kinda.
Yeah, it seems like a bug.... cap ships are currently effectively impossible to rout (ie, to make them leave).

Have seen it several times in distress signals now. They maneuver, attack, and pursue like normal sized ships...a bit slow, but very fast for their size. Hit box is the real issue as it seems to significantly lag the movement of the ship.

The cap ships near planet surfaces, e.g Boxer at Alcazars Hope and Preseus at Palin Research are very obviously bugged. Their movements there are not intended to be like that, and they are rather dangerous to even go near. As Andy said, almost impossible to rout atm.
Which is a shame, because Singularity was getting very good at shifting the one over Palin.
