I took my Corvette to Eravate and not 1 single commander would wing with me. got ganked by a few, but managed to escape before getting blown to oblivion.
Is anyone serious about taking out the scum bags? or are we just in this for our own profit? I'm done for the night but i'll be back tomorrow if anyone is serious about taking these dudes down. SxChuck.

It's just the nature of Open CG's. In my experience, Mobius players at CG's are pretty quick to wing up, so you might have better luck there, plus also not getting ganked.

I used to fly around there with Adles Armada, but I haven't actually been back in about a year.

It also didn't help that I was terrible at PvP, so was of no use to anyone. :D

You have a Corvette, you should be able to atleast damage them. Unless they come in multiple wings or a wing of four large ships. But multiple FDLs should be alright against a Corvette.

How did anyone in their right mind expect it to be anything other than "quickly infested"?

Everyone with the slightest inclination to participation in a locker-room e-length contest will flock to it like roaches to a Bronx kitchen.

It does serve a purpose though. They are aver there. The rest of us are playing our game over here.

Proper response is to point, laugh and play somewhere else.

This. And apparently also new players sometimes fine Möbius. Yesterday we had a mostly harmles in an Eagle in our wing, who said he just got the game due to the current promo.

So again it seems like PR can attract new players, but Möbius is here to keep them. :D

I've had my first run-ins with AA over the last couple days. They've got some good pilots but overall I'm very unimpressed. I wouldn't be surprised if they force their players to fly meta FDLs.

And yea, definitely not all about protecting newbs.

Might wanna be careful ye dont run into the resident overlord...just keep an eye out fer defencless sideys leaving the station...the overlord wont be far away ^

I had both of their shields almost all the way down. But my shields were about down too. That rebuy on my Corvette is pretty steep, over 18mil. My Vette is fully engineered, Maybe not the best rolls, but it's pretty tough. I'm pretty sure the two of them would have took me down if I had stuck around.

I guess I could have done a better job on getting my point across. 1/2 a bottle of rum tends to have a negative effect on my writing. :)

I didn't get blown up. I high waked out to avoid that.

Ah ok, yeah you caught me off guard. I was expecting the usual "I got blowed up in Open and wanna thank my grim reaper" thread.

Gankers or no gankers, Bounty Hunting doesn't even really *work* in Open anyway, because there are never enough ship spawns. I spent hours in Open looking for targets in a previous Bounty Hunting CG; never again.

18 million re-buy on a Vette ? I must be doing something wrong.. mine is 38 million....

But even so, good job on taking the fight to them !
