Alright, think I finally got it right after a fresh & cleaner recording.

HIP 20486 Recording 1
HHL HHL LHL | LLL LLH LHH
HLH LHL | LLL LLH LHH
LLL HHH HLL | LLL LLH LHH

http://jubjubnest.net:8001/?origin=...+LHL+|+LLL+LLH+LHH LLL+HHH+HLL+|+LLL+LLH+LHH

Which becomes Synuefe UK-V b35-0: 34.53125, -201.53125, -290.59375

... which apparently already got added to the spreadsheet moments ago. :p So at least I finally got the transcription right, even if someone else beat me to it!

And recording 3:

HLH HHL LHL | HHL LLL LHL HHH
HLH HLL | LLL LLH LHH
HLL LHH LHL | HLL LLL LHL

http://jubjubnest.net:8001/?origin=...HLL+|+LLL+LLH+LHH HLL+LHH+LHL+|+HLL+LLL+LHL+

Which points to Synuefe WU-X c17-11 ? If I did it right? Not in the spreadsheet yet, so maybe something there?

Omg.. I just noticed the link to the web page what works this out..... you guys as totally amazing..... so dam clever.. really... I mean it

Been thinking who is the most crazy, us well you for working all this out.... or dev for thinking it up in the first place...

Ancient ruins all over again.. are these sites now getting close to guardian knows site I wonder. I've not been on much this week in the game.... been busy... its amazing how fast all of this has unravelled.

It would have been nice if once we figured out what the UL's did we would have gotten better organized. Decided to do a team approach.

Take things step by step, yes it'd take longer but then we'd have better organized data and better techniques.

For instance:

A person designated to audio
A person designated to transcribing
A person then gets the possible systems
Then they post those systems and we all converge to search, once one was found we'd rinse and repeat.

Yes this gets harder when signals don't match or when all three message leads to different systems but that is where teams begin to form. As each UL system seperates us we wall still report back to the same designated people and don't move all till all info is accounted for.

What UL audio led to what sites and so on and so forth. I can count how many times the coords have been wrong on the spreadsheet that is being maintained. I still give them a lot of credit, things are happening so quick it is kind of hard to get organized but even so I think perhaps that means we all step back for a second, gather the data get things going on track again but with a more focused approach.

With all the sites being discovered - and the hope that that will eventually lead us to something significant (although I must remind everyone that the sheer number of these sites is significant on its own) - for those who feel alienated by, or unable to participate in, the whole decoding thing, we should consider there might be other weird things which are new:

1) The wreck sites themselves might not have given up all their secrets yet
1a) With the new flowership behaviour (buzzing SRVs at wreck sites) there might be other new interactions
2) Rechecking barnacle sites for anything new
3) With the Guardians mission now able to be completed legitimately, perhaps there's something else around that which is new
3a) We've seen Guardian tech illicit a response from the unknown device - what about unknown objects giving a different result at a Guardian site?
4) More space-based discoveries to be made - e.g. Gen ships or Fed wrecks
5) Maia/other Pleiades related weirdness?
6) The fungus farms out in California Nebula - any developments there?

I'm sure there are many more things to consider, too.

Either way - there's something that can be done by everyone of all levels of ability/motivation - and while this might be the biggest new thing right now, it's entirely possible it could be acting as a smokescreen for other, less 'obvious' things ;)

This ties in very nicely with what I have been saying and cannot be stressed enough, there is so much more to this than finding all the sites as quickly as possible!

I am also very glad that all levels of ability can take part because a lot of this still goes straight over my head :D At the moment I am transporting Unknown Links, Resin, Technology Samples and Biological Samples to the Canonn Institute at Col 285 Sector IX-T D3-43, so we can better understand them.

Time to leave for the week end. If some of you are interested by an UP i'll give mine. i'am at Palin research centre. Be quick if you want it !

Greetings all,

Are Corrosion resistant cargo racks tied to Engineers accessibility or just available to purchase and outfit at one station?

Plot twist... What if for every wreck uncovered the Thargoid invaders will gain in strength? What if ULs are actually devices meant to wake up the sleeping behemoths and begin their restoration? What if the game keeps track of activated sites and every unearthed wreck adds a functional Thargoid capital ship into the pool?

That'd be nice.

4) More space-based discoveries to be made - e.g. Gen ships or Fed wrecks

I was really hoping one of the UL would point to a wreck in orbit around an ammonia gas giant or something. That would be cool and let us take a look at something terrifying that was not buried

I'm guessing when the press were show something that looked like a "Cylon basestar" in space ages ago it was one of these alien big berthas so I'm keeping the hope alive for us seeing one before 2.4.

I would fully fill my pants if there was a spaceborne one we end up dropping onto, even if it was dead and in bits. I'm hoping when FD added megaships that they were not all human.

And a proper survey of some of those sites too, rather than just rushing in to treasure hunt. I posted a day or two ago about what looked like a possible Thargoid skeleton in one video, but nobody responded. Waiting for my CRCR to arrive (since I picked up a bounty in Merope5C so have put my investigation there on hold, also since it's black as pitch in that crater, can't see a thing, FD-equip night vision goggles!!!) before I can get out to investigate myself, and granddaughter sitting, and ...RL..
