Attempt to sabotage our game

When the thargoids come, open will be easy mode with their organised groups and collaborative game play. Solo players will be at a disadvantage having no one to call on to bail them out.
There needs to be some way of separating these casual, easyplay group players from the real players in solo - AKA brave mode.

Git gud or ge solo silly whiner easy mode open players you...hiding in plain sight in open mode when the real challenge is in solo where nobody has yer back and yer mammy wont protect ye...yeah wouldnt that be deliciously ironic?

Spend over 6 months in the black without so much as sight of land and one very much see the importance of having company in solo mode...problems arise when ye realize how much yer gameplay is beginning to resemble fight club and multiple personalities begin to emerge from the same singular source...and they start talking to each other...

This is why on relies on forums...cos if I was still talking to meself, Id be disagreeing with everything he said ^

If you want to compete with other players without risking your ship, fine. But doing it with the same efficiency as people who are risking a rebuy is not "equal". It's an advantage. Claiming NPCs are a threat is laughable. The only 2 threats in the game are other players and negligence.

Nope. I've read the whole thread and I'm still completely baffled. Assume I know nothing at all about this game (I'm starting to think I don't) - can someone explain to me, in plain English, what is being sought after by these apparent PS4 gankers, and how they are planning to achieve it? I've seen othes asking but I've not seen any answers that I can parse.

So whats different now? Ganker D-bags will gank newbies in their starter sideys as they have always done and the newbies will switch to solo and/or PVE-only PGs same as before. All this sort of action does is ensure Open stays they way it is now. Nothing like status quo to affect changes right?

I could name a hundred easily, but it's against the forum TOS. Plenty of players have urged for things that would be the death of Open, and rubbed their hands with glee at the thought of salty tears from "evil PVPers". I think 20% of the people celebrating the punishment from the recent Exploit we're among these number. Most of the rest were just glad Frontier was finally punishing cheaters. But a few saw it as karma for Open players in general, and gankers in specific. But these are kind of delusional people who honestly believe that Open is "ganker town USA."

No it isn't, you can use the forums to mention things people have said on the forums. That's quoting, not naming and shaming. And a hundred, seriously? You even know the usernames of a hundred forum members off by heart? That's weird, man.

The fringes of our community are where you find most of the dudes that are yelling at the sky over their pet topics. I find the cadre of extremists are always on hand to turn any given discussion into a pit of flames.
