As you've probably noticed, when parked up at one of the wreckage sites and logging out, the game informs you that you will be moved to a "safer" distance when relogging next time. 2km or 2.5km away I think.

While I might be stating absolute bleedin obvious, I reckon there can be little doubt that these ships will be taking flight again if even parking up for the night is hazardous!

It says that...but when I logged back in after a break I was still right next to the centre "circus tent" where I left from

BTW, I did actually spot one from 580km, nice change after looking for geysers from 8km distance :)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the UP sonogram meant to be the key to understanding the UP transmission?

Don't the numbers in the sonogram correspond to a number in the transmission? And then each quarter of the central part of the sonogram then gives a visual symbol of what the corresponding part of the UP transmission relates to (the planets gravity, etc)? And this is how it was meant to be the key?

Isn't it just that what actually happened is that things worked in reverse and rather than the UP spectrogram being the key to working out the UP transmission, the UP transmission was decided first and that acted as the key to understanding the sonogram?

My personal answer, as many here know, is yes. For me the UP sonogram is solved, and its meaning is this ^

Just been to the Gaurdian ruins to test UL+UP+UA at various places etc and nothing notable happened.

You are an hard worker CMDR!

You never gave me any..... :(

You are having mine now :)

THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE HERE THAT ARE DOING A TRULY AMAZING JOB, the list in endless but please let me give some shoutout to CMDRs Wace, Dreamstate, Olivia Vespera, Xenia_K, Kaltern, Codexghost, Muetdhiver, ProfChaos and many, many others!

Oh my god right. I have, not too complain too much but one guy who insists on getting the coordinates exactly right form inside the sites, and to four decimals after the point so it's easy to find and I'm like, man, you can see this things from orbital cruise, you don't need to be that specific, if people would just look around and be aware....then I want to say, we geologists find volcanic sites with pretty much the first two coordinates, usally two after the decimal and then we have to actually get within 10km to even see the things. haha

Anyone else keep finding these thargoid attack distress call threat 0 signal sources? I spent ages looking for it in Maia with no luck and stumbled onto 3 today hunting alien wreckage sites. Is there a use for the black boxes or can I just jettison them?

Oh. I've been skipping them. Distress calls of any threat ate generally bad for my explorer fit.

Has any one been hyperdicted at all today, or since sites appeared .... I haven't.... well I haven't ever... that's a different story

Right, back after making some RL money - gotta pay to play :D I have no un-discovered signal sites right now.. hopefully there's still some left on the spreadsheet lol

What's three furthest from a known site that another site had been found with a signal?

Just wondering if we might end up with a signal leading somewhere else, kinda like how there is guardian ruins all the way out in the skaudai sector

Well the trail has spread to Struve's Lost Sector. So it's heading somewhat 'south' - if you look at the galaxy from above. I'm wondering if this is going to either keep going till we get to a specific point... or the map shown in the unknown device room is literally all these 'wreck' positions. In which case Andromeda suddenly looks appealing...

Operation Icarus update:

Before I go to bed I'd like these findings added to the data sheet if anyone would care to do that for me as I'm not sure I'm able to or if I am...cannot do so from my phone!

Urn + Tab + Orb = usual orange pulse

Urn + Tab + Relic = Pulse

Urn + Tab + Totem = Pulse

urn + Tab + Casket = Pulse

Urn + Orb + Rwlic = Pulse

Relic + Relic + Relic = Pulse

I will continue with my experiments tomorrow, but for now...sleep.

Fly safe Cmdrs. o7

117ly is the furthest a site from one site has led to another, although the majority have been significantly shorter distances.

245ly looks like the furthest distance apart between any two sites.

The sheet is a bit behind the Canonn sheet right now - but I've been dealing with real life / actually playing. :) I'll update with additional sites soon.
