I'd say if you're from Commonwealth - easy as gravy
Depends on what are you looking for. If you go up north where practically nobody wants to live - TONS of work, of all kinds. Really high salaries. Reason? It's so COLD. Almost all year around. You will be in some middle of nowhere, without any exaggeration. In some tiny little town that is 800km to the closest thing that looks like city. So they're always on the lookout for a workforce. Probably more of a manual labor, if you're not afraid to get your hands dirty. Anything related to industry, lumber, mining, maybe service. Many people move there to work for a few years to make some decent money, and then come back to their cities down south.
If you're looking for anything else you're definitely not spoiled for choice of where to go. Only few options. Big cities in Ontario, or Vancouver(very EXPENSIVE). Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal have great IT industry presence. Especially Montreal, but you will find it a bit tough if you can't speak French.
