How do I earn merits faster? I'm getting the programme materials, but with only 10 every 30 minutes it will take forever to get to any rank.

To earn a significant number of merits, you either have to spend credits to fast track or go undermining.

As you progress through the ranks you will have access to more materials per 30 mins. At rank 5 for example you get 50 every 30 mins.

Rank progression is done every Thursday

Undermining is the fastest way. You get 30 merits per kill and it doesn't cost you anything, unless your ship is damaged or destroyed.

It's not the fastest but the cheapest. If you go into a HazRes in an enemy controlsystem and shoot there powerplay ships, you can get close to what fortifying/preparation offers.
But a cutter can take on a good tour 2ways 760 merrits in lesser than 15 minutes per load so around 3000 merrits in an hour. It's just expensive. 10k credits per merrit
But this way, rank 5 can be done in lesser than 4 hours from rank 0

I have question can i get The Prismatic Shield Generator with out going combat missions for Aisling Duval but do all ether mission for her Thanks

kdjak it depends on how often you do it cause you lose 50 merits a week at least i think you do.
Ironside if you want to help aisling take control of a system or fortify it you have to go to cubeo then any starport then contacts-power contacts and pick up the media tapes make sure you take them to the right locations though check your galaxy map

If you have at least 750 merits at the end of a cycle, you'll be rating 3 the next cycle and will have access to purchase prismatic shields so long as you meet the time pledged requirements. So if you want to get those shields ASAP, on the cycle before you meet 4 weeks make sure you earn 750 merits.

You can get Prismatic Shields without combat. Just haul the fortification power play cargo from Cubeo to a control system.

For both of your fortifications to be helpful, you can check the AD Trello for which systems need to be fortified.

Keep in mind that your merits decay by roughly fifty percent each cycle, though not exactly. You keep one half of the merits from one cycle back, one fourth of the merits from two cycles back, and one eighth of the merits from three cycles back. You don't carry over anything from anything greater than three cycles back.

Indeed, as the whole AD community turned out to reclaim our system and stop the Feds from encroaching into Empire territory, hauling hundreds of millions of Powerplay cargo and fighting Federal player wings, not one member of the Jokers of Jaaka was even seen in the Kalana area.
