I've just completed doing the 5 different black market trades, which hasn't registered a single one. I thought ohh maybe it'll update as I get to the end. I've tried logging out and back in and different modes to try getting it registering my trades. Even my status hasn't updated at the side. I sold slaves to 5 different stations over 3 systems. Anyone able to shed any light on this or is this where I have to just put a ticket into frontier?

That sucks. It was working when I did it last week - I already had two and I cheesed the remaining three by taking a delivery mission, abandoning it an selling the now illegal goods. I hope they fix it for you guys soon.
Yeah I deffo did after I traveled to get tobacco first and made a mess of it initially. So yeah spent nearly two hours searching out the places and travelling to do the trades to find it's a massive bug :/
Total dampener was looking forward to sorting some lasers for more haz res fun!

Got him unlocked quite quickly. Went to a station with a black market, looked at the mission list and clicked accept by accident on a cargo run to Hutton, (like I'm going to spend over an hour in Sc to Hutton for a few thousand credits). Abandoned the mission but it left the cargo which was now "stolen goods". Went to the black market on the off chance and they bought it from me which was a bit of a relief. I then noticed that my smuggling count went up by one with the Dweller as well. Oh well, did it a couple more times with different factions and presto, he's now unlocked and without losing a great deal of rep with the people I abandoned the missions with.
This is how I did it yesterday as well. Went to an independent system took a mission transporting at least 5 items of something from an independent faction I didn't care about, the went to eddb.io and asked for all the stations with black markets near me and sold 1 item to each, and all that was left to the last one. Don't abandon the mission until after selling all the goods, then you won't have illicit cargo issues. Black markets buy unique mission items whether they are illicit or not, that's why some missions have fines, so you can't use them to make tons of money.

I can confirm that Black-market stats still don't update when selling smuggled goods. However, selling mission cargo in that station's black-market does update the stats - so I have done that twice and received my Dweller invite. An obvious exploit, costs in fines but if the system is broken, what can you do?
Weird... I gained access to the Dweller short after the Lave CG, selling some illegal stuff to three different black markets in the same system while flying around with some rares

Yeah, my other commanders worked just fine and that was only recently but yes before the latest
I unlocked him the in the morning of the day the Hehe CG started, and it was after that mornings server shutdown, because the shutdown interrupted my last couple of black market unlock runs, as I had just got a new FAS and wanted some long range lasers, so spent the rest of the day until the CG start gathering engineering materials for doing the lasers and other things at other engineers.
